"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

Hey! I just recently checked out your site and downloaded the "Nature Loves You" Wallpaper pack.
Its phenomenal! But i took a screenshot after altering my desktop with GeekTool and a few of my own icons.
Do you mind me posting the wallpaper image (whilst obviously giving you the credit for your wallpaper) or should I advertise your site too while I'm at it?
